A film with only women in the shoot and on screen
A 100% lesbian ensemble romantic comedy.
A film that I dreamed up, wrote and directed in DIY mode, in a hurry and with a lot of freedom.
It is an invitation to delve into love lives, rarely seen in cinema, but which nevertheless allow everyone to identify with the dilemmas of love and commitment.
This film is above all a friendly and feminist adventure. Guided by the desire to make a spontaneous film, with maximum freedom of writing, we took on the incredible challenge of a feature film, shot in 18 days and 15 sets with 12 talented actresses, Nathalie Lao for the camera and Marion Claudel as production manager.
Thus Amantes was born.
A film with only women in the shoot and on screen, showing with tenderness and self-mockery today's love stories where we assume (or not) our contradictions.
